Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Steel Modeller with expertise in Tekla Structures to develop accurate 3D BIM models for structural steel projects. The successful candidate will work closely with detailing teams, project managers, and engineers to ensure models meet project specifications and international standards.
This role is ideal for professionals passionate about Building Information Modeling (BIM) and structural steel engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage accurate 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures.
- Create BIM models based on structural engineering drawings.
- Coordinate models with detailing, fabrication, and engineering teams.
- Maintain model accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform clash detection and resolve modelling issues.
- Generate model-based reports, MTO, and BOM.
- Update models based on project revisions and RFIs.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders for model approvals.
- Deliver projects within scheduled timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Freshers with Tekla knowledge or experienced professionals may apply.
- Strong understanding of BIM workflows and structural steel modelling.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Tekla Structures (Mandatory/Preferred).
- Knowledge of structural steel modelling.
- Understanding of AISC, CISC, and IS Codes.
- Ability to interpret structural engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of fabrication workflows and steel connections.
Desired Skills
